The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Program Integration Office Senior Manager, Proprietary Program, to join the team located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead internally focused team focused on program execution, working directly with program integrated product teams (IPT) to meet cost, schedule, quality and technical objectives and ensure customer requirements are achieved
  • Responsible for overseeing and driving execution of all key Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and ensuring seamless coordination of deliverables, communication, and PMBP across program IPTs
  • Champion development excellence principles and knowledge-first execution approaches across IPTs and program
  • Oversee maintenance of program baseline management and lead Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP)
  • Support program operating rhythm, CONOPS, performance management system / metrics, recovery planning and program status reporting
  • Responsible for effective performance metrics to track program level progress in technical, cost, and schedule requirements
  • Develops strong relationships with the customer, program team and supporting functions across organizational boundaries
  • Reports to Deputy Program Manager

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of senior leader or manager experience
  • 5+ years’ experience with the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience building teams and developing employees and managers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience performing cost and schedule management
  • Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to achieve Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $180,200 - $243,800


Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
