Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Senior Procurement Multi-Family Managers to support the Proprietary Supply Chain team in Berkeley, MO!

The Senior Procurement Multi-Family Managers will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations, ensuring efficiently and effectiveness with suppliers. As a strategic leader, the Procurement Multi-Family Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, enhance supplier relationships, and lead a team of first line managers and procurement agents.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
  • Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing and implementing process improvements
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $153,850 – $190,050


Export Control Requirements: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
