Insitu has an immediate need contract opening for a Senior Electro / Mechanical Repair Technician.  This role will be responsible for:

  • Building, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and integrating system modules, subsystems, air vehicles and ground control station (GCS) systems.
  • Performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of product and test equipment.
    Build, repair, troubleshoot, and test electro-mechanic assemblies including cables and PCBs. 
  • Assist with pilot builds of new products and documents procedural and fixturing requirements for manufacturing application.
  • Review and complete business and required documentation, including technical work instructions, check lists, quality documentation.
  • Use and maintain hand and/or power tools.
  • Perform minor cosmetic touch up work including painting and surface repairs of carbon and metal structures.
  • Assist and/or perform engine testing including but not limited to acceptance test procedure, fuel consumption measurement, limited troubleshooting and repair of field equipment.

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of parts, materials and processes related to electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical and electro-optical components.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Bingen, WA.
