Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Program Management Specialist – Strategic Initiatives to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Boeing Global Services focuses on delivering critical services to ensure sustainable operations supporting our customers around the globe. Within Government Services, Infrastructure Support Services aims to provide a variety of logistical and facility related support services to mission critical customers. This role is an opportunity to directly contribute to the success of existing programs and grow the business in pursuit of new programs.

Focused on creating business execution plans that enable effective stand up of new programs upon contract award, this position will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure Support Services and be a critical program management function integrating program management best practices with business opportunity teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leverage program management best practices and develop tailored program execution plans
  • Support and lead program management best practice audits of current operational programs
  • Collaborate with operational program managers across the ISS portfolio to determine, document and share capabilities
  • Establish templates and plans for transition planning for program start-up activities
  • Lead development of program architecture and top-level plans for program execution
  • Develop program organizational and work structures to support specific program requirements
  • Identify key program horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, supplier, partners and customers
  • Integrate customer and program communication contact plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to obtain an Adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph post-start
  • 3+ years’ experience in developing strategic plans in support of programs
  • 5+ years’ experience in operational or logistics environments focused on delivering mission critical services and support.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (any business degree or strategic studies degree) or equivalent military experience
  • Experience running large scale programs for US Government
  • Experience with customer service engagements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $146,200 - $197,800
