Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, seeks a Software Configuration Management Practitioner to support the GSCCE program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review of software documentation for internal consistency and adherence to Boeing and program standards.
  • Oversee configuration control of software work products.
  • Generate Software CM records as evidence of adherence to Software CM plans and Boeing standards.
  • Verify accuracy of software deliveries, both internal and external, support Change Boards, and respond to internal audits and customer queries.

To meet security standards and protocols, all work is performed onsite in Colorado Springs, Co.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Configuration Management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • NDIA certification.
  • Experienced in Automated Builds and DevSecOps.

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid-Level (level 3):  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead (level 4):  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead (level 5):  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years' related work experience, 11 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:  

Mid-Level (level 3):  79,050 – 106,950

Lead (level 4):  101,150 – 136,850

Lead (level 5):  119,000 – 161,000
