The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) is currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Application Developer to join the team in Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA

Join our dynamic New ElectroMagnetic Effects Software and Information System (NEMESIS) team as a Software Developer, where innovation meets collaboration in the exciting realm of Electrical Engineering! Position Responsibilities:

  • Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications

  • Gathers and evaluates end user requirements

  • Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements

  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

  • Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems

  • Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience developing .NET applications in C#

  • 3+ years of experience with C# (.NET Framework and .NET Core), SQL Server, and Object-Oriented Programming

  • 3+ years of experience with full software development cycle

  • 3+ years of experience with Entity framework

  • 3+ years of experience with microservices and WebAPI

  • 3+ years of experience with model-view-controller (MVC)

  • 3+ years of experience UI/UX development, HTML5 with Javascript, and CSS frameworks

  • 3+ years of experience with agile and ADO

  • 3+ years of experience with CI and CD pipeline – GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar

  • 3+ years of experience in unit testing, and integration testing

  • 3+ years of experience with Message Queue

  • 3+ years of experience of troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in front-end development of react/angular

  • Experience on RabbitMQ

  • Experience in automation testing

  • Experience with Docker – limitations, deployment and troubleshooting

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $135,700
