Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring a SeniorPropulsion Engineer to support Propulsion System Engineering team in Everett,Washington.

Our Propulsion Organization is a world-class team of over 1000 engineers supporting our customers across the product life-cycle from product development to certification to fleet support. Our core organization supports all programs and ensures functional excellence, while our integrated Product Teams are co-located and support specific airplane programs. Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads definition, coordination and control of the functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle.

  • Leads development of specifications and architectural and configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Leads configuration and design of propulsion sub-systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance criteria.

  • Leads the use of various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance.

  • Leads the definition and performance of certification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components.

  • Leads support of fielded systems by developing responses to customer queries and providing technical recommendations.

  • Leads development of concepts for future propulsion systems to meet anticipated requirements.

  • Works under minimal direction.

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering.

  • 10+ years of experience using Boeing-specific engineering tools and processes across multiple commercial programs.

  • 10+ years of experience with airplane propulsion systems and subsystem integration and/or analysis.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience coding in Python, C++, Matlab

  • Experience with testing, modeling, analysis or Simulation.

  • Experience with design and manufacturing

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Level 4: $121,550 – $164,450

  • Level 5: $147,900 - $200,100
