The opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and talented Project Manager to lead the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects at our Geraldton site. As part of a high performing team, you will apply your project management experience and advanced interpersonal skills to manage projects from inception through to project close-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with customers and peers.
  • Manage project deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with quality standards.
  • Plan and negotiate to secure resource availability to meet project goals.
  • Develop and execute project implementation and communication plans.
  • Identify project risks, develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Assist to identify suppliers and to coordinate and oversee supplier activities.
  • Assist to continually improve project processes, procedures and standardization.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Formal project management qualifications and/or experience managing a portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to take responsibility, plan and prioritise work and manage resources to meet customer expectations.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.

Security Clearance: You will be required to successfully undergo a positive vetting security clearance process. Therefore, you MUST be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and MUST have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
