For this role, you will be part of the Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) team in Gothenburg, Sweden. The purpose of BGES is to provide customer service support to Boeing's internal and external customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the office. BGES manages various functions, including Front of House, customer support, sustainability, security, maintenance, EH&S, and compliance for the entity. The vision of BGES is to support Boeing employees, customers, stakeholders, and operations in every way possible—every day!

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee Operations Management with a strong emphasis on maintenance, security, environmental health & safety and sustainability. This role involves providing Business Support services across various delegated activities, including Enterprise Services, Site Services, Security & Fire Protection, Sustainability, and Supplier Management. The successful candidate will manage facility operations, assist with non-real-property planning project administration, and ensure effective facilities provisioning. You will implement organizational policies, programs, processes, and procedures designed to protect people, property, information, and the environment, while ensuring compliance with relevant government and company security and fire regulations.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to helping others and finding solutions to challenges. A genuine interest in sustainability, environmental health and safety, and security is essential, along with strong administrative skills and a tech-savvy approach to office maintenance tasks.

You should be positive, flexible, and able to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English. As a responsible and organized team player, you will take initiative and focus on providing high-quality service to both visitors and employees. Additionally, handyman skills are essential for performing various office maintenance tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish, company language Is English
  • Experience in operations, facilities management, and/or customer service
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI tools)
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable navigating online applications to enhance productivity and communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • High energy, service-minded, positive attitude, and dedication to quality and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • A solid customer service background and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Experience and big interest in environmental health and safety, security, and sustainability
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, basic repairs, and maintenance of office assets and technology infrastructure
  • Handyman skills for performing minor repairs, installations, and general upkeep of office facilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Office Maintenance and Handyman Support

  • Perform routine office maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, installations, and upkeep of office equipment and facilities
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure a productive and ergonomic work environment, addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships for maintenance services and ensure that all office assets are in good working condition

Security and Badging Operations

  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure the well-being of Boeing employees and visitors, including regular safety inspections and emergency preparedness plans
  • Coordinate and update the Boeing Continuity Plan, ensuring compliance with EH&S standards and reporting on EU SharePoint and Enablon
  • Conduct safety walks, manage recycling initiatives, and oversee external surveillance audits

Environmental Health & Safety

  • Serve as the EHS Focal for Sweden, conducting safety walks and ergonomic checks, and collaborating with EU Site Focals

Sustainability

  • Oversee data calls, green leases, and procurement of green electricity, while collaborating on sustainability initiatives with EU colleagues
  • Ensure timely reporting of consumption data and participation in compliance activities, including audits

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
