Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Production Supervisor to assist with F-15QA maintenance efforts at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Qatar for a minimum of 2 years. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and managing a diverse team of multiple flightline and/or back-shops, maintaining effective communication with other departments, and ensuring that all production processes align with the program's requirements and objectives.
  • Oversees flightline and/or back-shop production, coordinates support and develops priorities in conjunction with flightline Production Superintendents and Maintenance Operations Control (MOC).
  • Establish and track aircraft Estimated Time In Commission (ETIC).
  • Inform MOC of the maintenance effort and coordinate with MOC, Flightline Expediters, and other sections/units/squadrons for support.
  • Participates in developing and executing the weekly and monthly flying and maintenance schedules/plans.
  • Signs the aircraft Exceptional Release (ER) in accordance with TO 00-20-1.
  • Provides oversight and direction for all flightline and/or back-shop related maintenance activities to include coordination of maintenance repair priorities & routinely coordinates scheduled maintenance activities with PS&D.
  • Requires skilled planning and organizing of production schedules, assessing of project and resource requirements, and determining quality control standards.
  • Key Boeing-to-Customer Interface and Focal; coordinates routinely with critical third-party entities, U.S. Government Representatives, and the Qatari Emiri Air Force Customer.
  • Responsible for enforcing safety regulations & quality standards, troubleshooting relevant production issues, and implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Possess excellent leadership and team management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines.
  • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proactively engages with subordinates to promote Boeing behaviors and a Seek, Speak, & Listen Culture


Key responsibilities also include:

  • Leading daily production meetings to review progress and address any issues.
  • Coordinating with the engineering team when required for problem resolution.
  • Developing and implementing production plans that optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
  • Ensuring that all production equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Collaborating with the quality assurance team to validate regular inspections and audits.
  • Coordinating with team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Preparing daily reports on team priorities, taskings and production to senior management.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with fighter aircraft maintenance and or management.
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience on military fighter platforms (F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-35, etc.)
  • Experience with aircraft systems including avionics, electrical, engines, flight controls, egress, structures, hydraulics, fuel and/or integrated vehicle management systems is preferred.

Ex-Pat Information:

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years of related work experience, 14 years of related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
Relocation benefits will be provided only to the international assignment.

Shift:

This position is for variable shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $78,200 - $105,800.
