The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level or Senior Contracts Management Specialist based out of Huntington Beach, California to support Maritime Underseas missions and other proprietary programs.

In this role, you’ll take charge of our proposal activities- diving into the details, expertly reviewing and negotiating contract documents, terms, and pricing. You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day communications and contractual obligations, acting as a liaison with senior leadership to navigate contractual matters and secure proposal approvals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Exercise signature authority to negotiate and contract for the sale and support of innovative aerospace products, services, technologies, financing, and intellectual property, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals

  • Present tailored business solutions that not only preserve but also expand business opportunities

  • Represent the company in external negotiations with a diverse range of customers, fostering strong relationships

  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret, and manage complex contractual agreements that are essential to The Boeing Company

  • Collaborate and coordinate with various internal teams to ensure seamless operations

  • Summarize complex contractual issues, develop creative solutions, and coordinate efforts to mitigate contractual risks, significantly impacting the company’s success

  • Manage contractual documents within the Common Contracts System (CCS), to include close-out of completed contracts.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase, and sale agreements

  • Experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience administering complex contracts

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field

  • Working understanding of Intellectual Property

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 3:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $83,300 – $112,700
