The Boeing Global Supply-Government Supplier Management team is looking for an Mid-Senior Procurement Agent (Level 3) to support the Boeing Cecil Field, FL site.  The successful candidate will develop sourcing strategies, ensure compliant procurement practices and lead process improvement initiatives.

This position is a full time onsite position. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the following site location: Jacksonville, FL

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external customers in formalizing procurement requirements/ensuringprogram/customer/product/aftermarket strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies, running supplier competitions, negotiating proposals, preparing and executing solicitations (RFQ's and RFP's), and supporting sourcing strategies/making "Best Value" sourcing decisions in a manner that is compliant with regulatory requirements and company procedures

  • Act as an authorized agent of The Boeing Company in accordance with established commitment authority thresholds, interpreting/negotiating/enforcing contract terms and conditions, preparing and executing negotiated documents, extensive supplier/internal/externalcoordination/communication, as well as delivery of timely accurate status for planned orders, purchase requisitions and supplier performance to purchase contracts

  • Conducts risk, issues, and opportunities management.

  • Manages Supply and demand, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.

  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

  • General understanding/ability/knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations. General knowledge of regulation, company and local policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.

  • Participates in Customer meetings and acts as a liaison between Program Leadership, Customers, and the Supplier Management Team.

  • Develops mitigation plans and identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • 3+ years' experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

  • 3+ years' experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions

  • Fluent in both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

  • 3+ years' experience functioning in a cross-functional environment

  • 3+ years' experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes

  • 3+ years' experience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performance

  • 3+ years' experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Summary pay range: 74,800 - 101,200
