Boeing Global Services is seeking a Battery Repair Technician (Entry Level, Associate, and Experienced) to join and support our team in Van Nuys, CA.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Van Nuys. CA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry Level, Associate Level, and Experienced Level Battery Repair Technicians.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations

  • Assemble and test battery and electrical equipment in accordance with all relevant and applicable technical data and publications

  • Follow all policies and procedures, and all safety rules and regulations

  •  Perform other duties as assigned

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.“U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Ability to work in a team environment (and interact effectively with team members from non technical disciplines)

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

  • Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Mechanical and/or electrical experience

  • Ability to read and understand complex technical publication and diagrams/blueprints

  • SAP knowledge

  • Lean production/Six Sigma knowledge or experience

  • Troubleshooting experience

  • Calibration experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry Level (Level A)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

Associate Level (Level B)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced Level (Level C)

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary pay range for entry level: 40,800 - 55,200

Pay range for associate level: 50,150 - 67,850

Salary pay range for experienced level: 56,950 - 77,050
