Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Entry-Level Security Operations Center Specialist to join our team in McClellan, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor CCTV, fire, and security system to control access to the property
  • Issue identification cards for employees and visitors for authorized access to the building
  • Verify identification and proof of citizenship for export compliance
  • Log visitors and security evens in the data management system
  • Receive, inventory, process, and disassemble surplus equipment.
  • Determine if the surplus equipment is serviceable and can be recapitalized.
  • Render unserviceable equipment inoperable through a variety of destruction methods.
  • Dispose of surplus equipment in accordance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and environmental requirement and laws.
  • Conduct all actives safely and within OSHA requirements. Use and maintain safety equipment.
  • Escort visitors through the building as needed.
  • Aid mailroom personnel process shipments and mail through the facility. 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel)
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including climbing ladders, stairs, lifting up to 35 pounds, lifting arms above head height, and quickly moving to different areas of the building at a brisk walking pace with or without an assistive mobility device.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with monitoring facility alarms, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and journal entries
  • Ability to read and interpret maps and building floor plans

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $56,950 - $67,050
