Boeing’s Corporate Labor Relations team is looking for a Labor Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Specialists to find the best fit for this position.

The team is looking for someone who has a dynamic range of experience covering the areas of employee engagement, positive employee relations and labor relations. The candidate for this position will demonstrate proactive approaches to identifying issues, generating ideas and developing solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to maintain and foster relationships with employees that ensures a culture where management preserves the direct relationship with employees and the site remains non-union

  • Identify risks both internal and external - to a strong, direct relationship between leaders and employees and develop plans to mitigate those risks

  • Knowledge, guidance and interpretation on collective bargaining agreements and labor relations issues

  • Execute positive employee relations and containment processes for multiple locations

  • Provide innovative ideas/initiatives to increase employee engagement

  • Provide operational advice and counsel to management, HR and support groups on a broad range of employee relations issues

  • Develop strong partnerships with business leaders, HR Generalists, HR functions and union leadership to create integrated solutions that will foster a culture based on relationships, trust and engagement

  • Develop and provide education on Employee Relations strategies and processes

  • Assist management and HR in developing strategies related to employee survey feedback

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization

  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects

  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior business leaders across functions and/or programs

  • Experience working with Unions in an HR capacity

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience working Human Resources

  • 3+ years of experience with collective bargaining and an hourly union-represented workforce

  • Experience with Workday

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $80,750 - $109,250

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $97,750 - $132,250
