Boeing Mexico Services Corporation & Boeing Satellite Systems are seeking Senior Business Support Specialist, reporting to the Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) Regional Leader for Canada and Latin America (CLA), working out of the Mexico City, Mexico office. The BGES team leads, integrates and enables our Global Operations, providing high quality and agile services (offering 66+ services); driving operational excellence with local diverse teams and partners.

The Senior Business Support Specialist will join the LATAM BGES team which is part of the larger Canada and Latin America (CLA) Regional team and will serve as the Legal Representative for the BMSC and BSS entities mentioned above.  As the SBSS, you will act as the primary focal in Mexico and various smaller offices in Latin America to deliver cost-effective, safe, and compliant support for the team and our facilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads operations management and compliance, Business Support services and traveler assistance for multiple delegated business activities such as Enterprise Services, Site Services, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection, Supplier Management, HR, and IT.
  • Maintains and implements organizational policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable local government and company security & fire regulations (e.g., business preparedness, country evacuation planning & crisis management and secure badge renewals).
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers within Mexico and Latin America countries with a Boeing presence. Investigates and provides guidance for global local hires and international assignees on complex issues or concerns.
  • Manages facility operations, non-real-property planning and project administration, and facilities provisioning. Responsible for site/entity compliance with local laws, Boeing policies and procedures, develops and manages the operating budget.
  • Interprets office and property accounting, invoicing, cost analysis, tax policies and business objectives, and recommends solutions.
  • Monitors and partners with the procurement agent at the local site contributes to manage the vendor activity (i.e. negotiations, vendor performance).

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be legally able to work in Mexico.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Support services
  • Must possess a Mexican Tax ID (RFC) and a Mexican identification number (CURP) and be able to serve as the legal representative for the BMSC and BSS entities.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Experience in Supply Chain operations.
  • Experience working in Government relations.  
  • Experience as Facilities analyst and/or Finance Analyst. 
  • Experience coordinating and processing invoices and payments through multiple online payment tools, reconciling payments. Oracle experience is a plus.  
  •  Experience with office/facilities environment Sustainability measures.

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
