Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to support F/A-18 maintenance efforts at JRB New Orleans, LA. The individual will work closely with the F/A-18 Global Technical Operations Leadership to support the planning, execution and delivery of Quality products and services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Performs inspections on aircraft for maintenance activities on the F/A-18 platform
  • Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures
  • Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
  • Performs internal audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements
  • Documents audit results in standard formats
  • Works under general supervision

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. JRB New Orleans, Belle Chasse, LA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • 5+ years Avionics experience
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI, CDQAR, QAR)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Technical data experience (IETMS)
  • DCMA INST 8210-1D experience
  • AS9100 Revision D experience
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.). Preferred but not required.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This is a first shift position on-site.

Summary pay range:$67,000.00 to $119,000.00 Annually
