Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Mobility Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) has an exciting opportunity for Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders (Level M) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK to supporting the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) portfolio. We are seeking leaders for Air Vehicle and Mission Systems.


A unique opportunity awaits to help develop and implement the IPT structure for the AWACS portfolio.  We are currently developing upgrade and modifications for the USAF, NATO, Japan, and Saudi Arbia, in addition to providing engineering support for the world-wide fleet.  The IPT leader will be responsible for delivering an integrated product to the respective programs.  It will require close coordination with our engineering capability leaders and will manage our control account managers (CAMs).  The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, biased towards action and proactive in problem solving and coordination.  International travel maybe required. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives working with our Engineering capabilities
  • Manages and drives performance with the Cost Account managers (CAMs)
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
  • 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
  • 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • 5+ years of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects
  • 10+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Active Secret is preferred

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $167,450 - $226,550
