Boeing Defense & Space w/Mobility & Surveillance is offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive Senior Quality Leader (L level Manager) to join the AEWC E7 program in Oklahoma City, OK.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Aninterimand/orfinalU.S.TopSecretClearancePost-Startisrequired

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Oklahoma City, OK.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years of experience in strategies planning, project management or proposal development
  • 5 or more years of experience leading or managing multi-skill discipline teams
  • 5 or more years of experience in a quality job role
  • 5 or more years of experience in gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • 5 or more years of experience working in production
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally depending on business conditions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with new development programs
  • Experience with QMS (Quality Management System) and AS9100.
  • Experience preparing and presenting to executives
  • Experience working in a Defense or Aerospace related program
  • Experience with Boeing Problem Solving Methods (BPSM)
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA)
  • Experience with Data Analytics

Travel:

This position may require up to 25% of travel

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This position is for the 1st shift.

Summary pay range:$134,100 - $163,900
