The Boeing Company is looking for a Flight Test Program Integration Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Mobility and Surveillance (M&S) Test Program Integrator (TPI) supports a diverse portfolio of Boeing products.  M&S TPI responsibilities span multiple defense programs from Executive Transport aircraft such as the VC-25A, US and International Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) E-3 platforms, to National Command and Control aircraft such as the E-4B and E-6B.   The M&S TPI mission provides critical oversight of disciplined test and evaluation execution strategies integrated with Boeing M&S aircraft program objectives. 

The M&S TPI leads efforts under the oversight of the Test Program manager to develop and manage a program’s test and evaluation (T&E) strategy.  This includes leading strategic analysis, industry assessments, capital investments and technology review boards to develop a highly effective program test execution strategy.

The M&S TPI will gather and lead proposal teams creating technical and cost volumes including labor and material estimates capturing the T&E requirements within an M&S program.

From an overall test strategy, the M&S TPI will lead the development of the program integrated test plan spanning multiple engineering disciplines.

The TPI leads testability assessments of engineering requirements integrated into the overall program test strategy.  The TPI will also ensure disciplined cost and schedule oversight integrated with program baselines

The M&S TPI integrates flight and lab test engineering with program objectives establishing verification metrics, program requirements and overall requirements traceability.

The M&S TPI integrates instrumentation, manufacturing and production engineering to produce laboratory and experimental aircraft in support of primary program objectives.

The M&S TPI as a program Ground and Flight Test Integrated Product Team (IPT) leader coordinates with other program IPTs and external T&E stakeholders such as industry partners, customers, suppliers, and critical capabilities.  The TPI’s critical cross-functional coordination creates a foundation of necessary teaming plans, support agreements, and first-time quality resulting in a highly successful T&E component of any Boeing M&S Program.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Senior Level Flight Test Program Integration Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity

  • Leads the development of test procedures

  • Applies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures

  • Develops data processing tools and algorithms

  • Generates calibration procedures and software

  • Guides others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements

  • Oversees debriefing of the test team. Leads the analysis, processing and formatting of data to customer requirements

  • Approves test data prior to delivery to customer

  • Formulates expectations for test data based on historical data

  • Performs functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity

  • Trains others. Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 

  • 5+ years of experience supporting a military flight test program

  • 3+ years of experience with system assembly, integration & test, including requirements traceability culminating in requirements validation & verification

  • 1+ years of experience estimating costs and developing schedules meeting EVM requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience: 

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for senior level (4): $106,250 – $143,750

Summary pay range for senior level (5): $126,650 – $171,350
