Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (Warehouse) (Level K) in Oklahoma City, OK 3PL warehouse.  This position manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Work with and provide oversight of 3PL to support BGS and BDS Supply Chain and Program requirements.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, warehouse strategies are met.

  • Work closely with 3PL leadership to ensure customer’s needs are met

  • Optimizes warehouse execution

  • Manages team performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.

  • Mitigates risks and issues.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options:  Oklahoma City, OK

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3 years or more of experience in a leadership role leading either projects, initiatives, or teams to meet business objectives and influence change

  • Experience prioritizing a high volume workload and working with multiple peers, partners, and suppliers

  • 5 years’ experience with Supply Chain processes

  • Must be able to travel at least 10%

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in warehouse operations

  • Experience working with a third party logistics (3PL) service provider

  • Experience with supply chain/execution systems (process or tools) to ensure meeting customer requirements

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $94,350.00-$127,650.00
