Boeing Canada OperationsLimited is seeking to fill an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager supporting the Royal Canadian Air Force Chinook Medium to Heavy Lift Helicopter (MHLH) program. This position is located in Ottawa, Ontario reporting to the Regional Leader, of Boeing Global Services - Government, Non-U.S. Americas.

The role requires leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on program execution, demand planning and forecasting, including Deployment Support, Integrated Logistics Support, Engineering Support, Maintenance Support, Maintainer Training, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management.

We are seeking a multifaceted leader with tactical understanding and operational vision and leadership to model the culture of Boeing Global Services as agile and lean, while being deeply committed to the customer and compliance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, train and mentor direct reports

  • Maintain program schedule/ cost milestones that create the landscape for business growth.

  • Driving execution of established In-Service Support services and incorporate new offering from customer ensuring follow-on extension

  • Manage and execute growth projects to meet or exceed customer expectations

  • Support customer program reviews

  • Championing a “One Team” culture by being intentional and purposeful in communicating a Services-First approach

  • Lead change management processes using Program Management Best Practices to drive efficiencies

  • Champion a safety culture across all program locations

  • Lead and support the program Quality Management System

The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the Ottawa, Ontario office.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Minimum 6+ years working in a leadership or management role.

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience with Program Management.

  • Experience working with Government programs.

  • Experience working with Royal Canadian Air Force and/ or industry.

  • Experience with critical business and financial competence including risk, issue, and opportunity management to drive performance.

  • Must be eligible for authorization under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.

  • Must be able to obtain Secret Level II clearance.

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Public Services and Procurement Canada

  • 6+ years of Senior Management experience  

  • 6+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry

  • Post-secondary Education

  • Active Secret Level II clearance

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government. Requirements to obtain a secret security clearance can be found at:
