We are looking for a Senior Communications and Branding Specialist for North America and Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) to support our Sales and Marketing team based in Renton, WA.

This communicator works closely with our airline customers and with the BCA Sales and Marketing teams for North America and Boeing Business Jets to help differentiate and build preference for Boeing airplanes. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with airline communications colleagues and a cross-enterprise team of Communications professionals to shape external strategies, and leverage opportunities to share customer stories and insights within Boeing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive Communications plan to support North America and BBJ Sales and Marketing business objectives

  • Produces compelling content, including news releases, social and other digital materials, for appropriate channels and target audiences to drive preference for Boeing airplanes and positively impact employee engagement, the Boeing brand and company results

  • Counsels and partners effectively with Sales and Marketing leaders and teams. Cultivates and strengthens relationships with communications counterparts at airlines

  • Leads integrated planning teams in support of industry, customer and Boeing events, milestones and activities; amplifies customer news and messaging

  • Manages emergent issues to ensure internal awareness and customer alignment while protecting Boeing’s reputation

  • Supports and partners with members of a geographically dispersed Communications team to collaborate and share best practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Producing, writing and editing communications plans, strategies and deliverables

  • Creating or managing digital and social media content/channels

  • Experience supporting executives and/or senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrated exceptional strategic, written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to persuade and motivate to action

  • Experience in corporate communications, public relations agency or news media

  • Capability to work independently and with a cross-functional team

  • Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally

  • Video production and editing skills are a plus

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $133,450 - $180,550
