The Boeing Supplier Management Top Supplier Performance team is seeking an Experienced Supply Base Manager to join the team in Seattle, WA. This position will sit within the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Global Parts Solutions team with responsibility for overseeing the relationship management, delivery performance, and open order management for one or more of Boeing's key suppliers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Seattle, WA

Position Responsibilities

  • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.

  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders to propose, define, and execute upon business strategies with one of Boeing's key suppliers.

  • Leads cross-functional engagements and drives supplier relationship.

  • Coordinates supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.

  • Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships.

  • Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and programs.

  • Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issues.

  • Consults with executive management company-wide to lead the development of future supply base requirements.

  • Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities.

  • Drives the company's cross-functional supply base strategy process.

  • Ensures external partners are meeting business expectations.

  • Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related processes. 

  • Strong professional communication skills

  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience proposing and executing upon strategic decisions

  • Experience in a self-directed role.

  • Experience collaborating with executive and senior management.

Typical Education/Experience: 

  • Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 109,650 - 148,350
