The Boeing Company is seeking SeniorFacilities HVAC and Mechanical Technicians to join our team based in Springfield, VA.

In this role, the selected candidate will be working with HVAC, air handlers and towers, facility plumbing, and more. This person is responsible for responding to routine maintenance calls as well as PM service to the facility. This roles requires ability to work within a team as well as independently and problem-solve a variety of issues.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use basic knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures
  • Provide general support in response to routine trouble calls
  • Demonstrate increased skill level in the repair and maintenance of plant and office facilities
  • Use hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to obtain an adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph post-start
  • 5+ years’ experience with repair/replacement of pumps, bearings, fans, drive belts, lights, cooling tower maintenance, water softening systems, air handlers, door closure systems, etc
  • 3+ years’ experience following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints and job plans
  • Customer Service experience
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Capable of lifting 35lbs on a frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Top Secret /SCI with Counterintelligence or Full Scope polygraph
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools
  • Facilities, maintenance or construction experience
  • Welding experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900
