The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Supplier Management Procurement Agent to support a world class Sustainment Operations, Across multiple platforms, P-8A Australia/NZ, C17 Globemaster 3, AH64 Apache, CH47 Chinook, Helicopter training support EC135 and F/A18 Super Hornet and Growler (Rhino). The role can be based in Brisbane, Williamtown, Amberley, Townsville or Adelaide.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand and Supply Analysis:

  • Support to Sustainment Operations:
    • Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply to maintain effective inventory levels and operational efficiency.
    • Identify potential risks in supply chains and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements to protect sensitive data.
    • Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
    • Negotiate and document contracts and agreements in line with organizational requirements and policies.
    • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to suppliers.
    • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring alignment with contract terms and operational objectives.
    • Address supplier issues and implement corrective actions to maintain service levels.
    • Provide procurement and supplier management support to sustainment operations across multiple programs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support in-service operational requirements.

    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including demand and supply analysis.
    • Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts.
    • Experience in evaluating supplier performance using metrics and monitoring tools.
    • Proficient in preparing proprietary information agreements and managing contractual documentation.
    • Experience in supporting multi-billing procurement functions across diverse operational requirements.
    • Prior experience in sustainment operations or defense procurement.
    • Familiarity with supplier management in a multi-project or multi-billing environment.
    • Understanding of applicable regulations and compliance requirements within the defense sector.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
