This position is based in Beijing, China, partnering with global Supply Chain teams for functional excellence, regional supplier oversight, and safeguarding the on-time delivery of high-quality parts, material and major structures being produced by China Tier 1 and their sub-tiers for enterprise services.

This position will have responsibility across all airplane programs, incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

The statement of work in this role will include but are not limited to: manage supplier performance, purchase raw materials, supplier parts and releasing of production orders while ensuring adherence to program schedule, compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and process improvements.

Position Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Participate in procurement activities which support 100% First Pass Quality and on-time delivery performance.
  • Analyze demand and schedules to release and maintain purchase orders to support operations
  • Manage and resolve order delinquencies and schedule adherence issues
  • Inventory oversight and control inclusive of auditing, reconciling and ordering adjustments
  • Maintain and enhance MRP system to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support emergent or unplanned demand ordering
  • Drive to resolve issues which ensures safety, quality, and performance-to-plan
  • Proactively identify and capture process improvement activities and cost savings opportunities
  • Communicate supplier performance status to leadership and internal and external business partners
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain personnel
  • Develop, recommend and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance to operational targets

Required Competences:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and business level written and oral communication skills in Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel to create spreadsheets in a business environment and PowerPoint to create decks in English and present effectively.
  • Proficiency working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products).
  • Flexible and open mindset with an ability to perform in a dynamic international environment with a shifting work statement and priorities. A willingness and desire to take on new tasks that may be outside normal daily operations.
  • Proactive service ownership and problem solving mindset. Ability to partner with process owners to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement and adhere to project and reporting deadlines.

Work Authorization:

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in China.
