Boeing Distribution Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager who is responsible for directing, planning and laying out the details of standards, methods and procedures supporting used Services Materials, First Article Inspections, Inspection Plans, and Program Quality Control. Position can be located in Dallas, TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Quality team.

  • Performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Sales to know when functional leadership is needed. 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.“U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Experience in a role that required creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, strong collaborative skills, strong written and verbal communication

  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills

  • 3+ years of experience in the Commercial Aviation Industry

  • 3+ years of experience with supply chain, OEM, and/or after market production

  • 3+ years of leading teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Boeing Quality Management Systems

  • Experience with Lean Principles

  • 1+ year of experience with Used Services Materials

  • 1+ year of experience with Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA)

  • 1+ year of experience operating as a Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $108,800 – $157,550
