Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to join the Product Development Business Operations team based out of Everett, Washington.

The PD Business Operations team is responsible for all aspects of running the Product Development business, on-behalf of the organization’s VP/GM, and for ensuring program management discipline in early development. We have an exciting and challenging position within the Program Integration team. The Program Integration team has primary responsibility for PD level Management System and Integration (MS&I) work, including operating rhythm, data analysis and insights, business performance, integration and collaboration, content and data standards, decision support, and system review and updates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and execution of the rhythm of the business, digitally optimized for the complexity of the cross-functional, and cross-discipline product development organization.

  • Drive efficient and effective business integration across PD, including required actions in partnership with enterprise stakeholders to enable the innovative culture needed in PD.

  • Assist in management of work statement approval and execution, tracking progress to plan, and effectively managing associated risks, issues, and opportunities, across the complete PD portfolio.

  • Collect, organize, and provide data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, and support customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

  • Support the coordination and clarify the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals.

  • Utilize/leverage program management best practices to standardize and improve performance.

  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.

  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Washington.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with program, project, management and/or business operations

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership

  • 3+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions

  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Excellent business acumen, written and verbal skills, and ability to solve complex problems

  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams

  • Experience utilizing of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), data analytics, tools and technology to measure and optimize outcomes

  • Familiarity with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)

Typical Education/Experience:
Senior Level (Level 4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 5):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range (Level 4): $115,600.00 - $125,000.00

Summary pay range (Level 5): $141,950.00 - $154,000.00
