Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager (Level K) with the Manufacturing Portfolio in Heath, Ohio.

This position will have broad leadership authority and full delegated RAA to perform Program Manager (PM) responsibilities as needed. Interaction is expected with customer communities, and internal stakeholders. Skills required for these positions include an understanding of and ability to manage the overall program lifecycle including acquisition, development, production and sustainment. In addition, the Program Manager should be able to demonstrate strong communication and problem solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Senior Program Manager in oversight and execution of programmatic, business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.
  • Provides program status briefings to Boeing and customer senior leadership.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees performing activities in the areas of program/project management.
  • Ensures seamless coordination of deliverables, communication, and PMBP across program team.
  • Prepares, coordinates and facilitates program execution, manages program baselines and baseline change management processes, risk/issue/opportunity management and program performance management reviews utilizing established metrics.
  • Supports development and review of program growth strategies, proposals and contract modifications.
  • Maintains program operating rhythm, ensures adherence to Enterprise Standard Gated process criteria and deliverables, facilitates help-needed, root cause corrective action (RCCA), and capture of lessons learned.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 3 years of experience in program or project management.
  • More than 3 years of work experience leading or managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a leadership role (i.e., manager, project manager, team lead, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $126,650 - $171,350
