Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) Supply Chain Systems organization is currently looking for Senior Functional Analyst in a SAP Demand and Supply Planning (DSP) to join our team in either Kent, WA; Plano, TX; Huntington Beach, CA; Miami, FL; or Hazelwood, MO.

This position will focus on planning, implementation, and support of SAP Projects and Products. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.

Position Responsibilities

  • Holds responsibility for gathering, document preparation, end-to-end solution design, functional spec preparation, realization, and deployment
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams comprising of business subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, developers, and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems for projects and products
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; creates and updates associated documentation
  • Translates functional specifications into application design documents, co-ordination with Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) team, testing of new functionality or enhancements, prepare test plans and test scripts, perform unit tests and integration tests
  • Develops, reviews, and maintains functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners
  • Participates in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP Functional Analyst in finance
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP MRP
  • 5+ years of experience with the documentation, analysis, research, and design of solutions within a medium to large enterprise using SAP-ECC and a release management program

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with planning integration with external systems
  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) – Demand Forecasting and Supply Planning modules
  • Experience with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Experience with special planning procedures along with interchangeability functionality
  • Experience with discrete and repetitive manufacturing along with associated configurations

Typical Education/Experience: 

Typically, 9 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

This is a 1st shift position.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $159,850
