Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility & Surveillance (MS&B) is seeking a broad range of experience levels to include Associate, Mid-level and Senior Systems Engineers to join the AEW&C SEIT organization in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This organization supports the sustainment of the international AWE&C Fleet through resolving cross functional technical issues over the entire product lifecycle, resolving part obsolescence issues, integrates modernization upgrades and modification solutions, and assisting in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements,

The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work with and learn from others, must be detail oriented, objective, analytical, and have excellent communication skills. The Boeing OKC site offers diverse product opportunities in an energized workplace. The candidate will be a member of a dynamic and diverse Systems Engineering team.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
  • System Analysis (Technical Performance Measures, Risk, Issue, & Opportunity Management, SEIT performance/leading indicator metrics)
  • Provide engineering support during aircraft operation and maintenance to include but not limited to trade studies and impact analysis, failure analysis, and modeling
  • Provide engineering support to upgrades to ensure relevance of the system throughout the operational phase of the life cycle
  • Integrate engineering and manage technical baselines
  • Interact and collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams and program management
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with other teams to resolve problems and implement solutions
  • Develop and deliver SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences using a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas
  • Ability to provide technical solution to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
  • Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
  • Ability to collaborate with team members

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 2 years or more of related work experience in Aerospace or System Engineering
  • Experience in applying engineering processes and principles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years or more experience in Aerospace and Systems Engineering
  • Experience in functional analysis
  • Experience in systems integration
  • Experience in verification, validation, and certification
  • Experience using digital engineering tools including Cameo, Mentor Capital, DOORS, and 3DExperience
  • Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management
  • Experience executing various systems development life cycles and design reviews
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems
  • (level 3) Experience working both independently and in team environments
  • (Level 4) Experience in technical leadership of complex projects and engineering teams throughout the program life-cycle
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 2:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In The USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 3:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In The USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 4:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In The USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation: 

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Work Shift:

This position would work 1st Shift.

Summary pay range for Associate $75,650 – 102,350

Summary pay range for Mid Level $90,950 – 123,050

Summary pay range for Senior $111,350 – 150,650
