Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a LeadField Service Representative to support the KC-46 Tanker Aircraft at Travis Air Force Base (TAFB). This is a customer facing position that will be based in Fairfield California and will have responsibilities at Travis Air Force Base (TAFB), Fairfield, California.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short-notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Will be leading a team of 7 Field Service Representatives.
  • Provides technical field support of company products.
  • Assists with troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage.
  • Resolves maintenance and operational issues.
  • Interprets technical documents and monitors product performance.
  • Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
  • Develops and conducts ad hoc training.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Travis AFB, Fairfield, California.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 7 years of aircraft refueling maintenance experience
  • Ability to support on-call work during all shifts as required
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a passport for international travel
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work.  Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License desired.
  • Previous experience working with KC-46, KC-135, KC-10 or 767 products is desirable

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years of related work experience, 14 years of related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for a rotational shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $103,700 - $140,300
