Boeing Poland is currently seeking for a BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplanes)Customer Support Service Engineer Airframe - 737NG/737 MAX, based out of Rzeszow,Poland.

Successful candidate will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Will apply basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout production and/or for technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer. You will analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond requests from airlines and repair organizations for technical support of Boeing airplanes. Provide a quick and appropriate response that meet the Safety-First principle

  • Disposition repair, design repair plan, provide jacking and shoring instructions, analyze reported problems for potential safety issues, provide No Technical Objection (NTO) for ferry flights / flight tests etc.

  • Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle

  • Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions

  • Identifies documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution

  • Develops and implements product/process improvements

  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.

  • Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards

  • Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment

  • Analyzes damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage and assure a safe work environment

  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Rzeszow, Poland.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 1+ years in aircraft structure, materials, properties and design criteria

  • 1+ years of experience in working within airline’s maintenance and/or engineering departments

  • Fluent in both written and verbal English

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Higher Education Diploma in Aerospace/Aviation Engineering

  • Experienced in reading and understanding engineering models, drawings and specifications

  • Experienced in researching engineering designs in order to develop defect solutions to product/ process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues

  • Experience/Familiarity with structural design principles for aircraft primary structures (e.g. corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques)

  • Ability to travel about 10% of work time

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
