The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the Government Security group located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports Special Access Program (SAP) for F-15 Program Support.
  • Provides Government and Boeing procedural guidance to personnel to ensure security compliance.
  • Conducts Government Security Investigations (GSI) on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Manages and organizes sensitive documents and accountable files in accordance with Government and Boeing requirements.
  • Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities in compliance with government regulations/requirements.
  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security (OPSEC) program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.
  • Leads and performs Personnel Security team processes (works with databases, reviews files, conducts interviews, submits to customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for standard customer requirements.
  • Conducts security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
  • Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.
  • Performs Sub-Contractor Management (e.g., providing contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.
  • Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams.
  • Conducts assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.
  • Conducts Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports, interviews) on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Interprets information security policies and provides direction on implementation and applicability of policies/procedures. Provides policy guidance to small scale programs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Facility Security Officer (FSO) or a Contractor Special Security Officer (CCSO)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience in Industrial Security

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $96,900 – 131,100
