Boeing Defence Australia's Transformation Office is seeking a Change Practitioner located in Brisbane CBD.

This permanent position is to establish and facilitate effective and robust management of change throughout the organisation. As a key member of the Transformation Office team, the ideal person will strike a pragmatic balance between uplifting BDA's change management capability according to best practice, with the realism of actively managing change within a complex organization. The role will require the experience and ability to shift seamlessly from strategic change management planning to hands-on, tactical, delivery of change management activity, as required. Strong leadership skills are required to support people through change management while ensuring there is a focus on value to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a change management framework through collaboration with key stakeholders to facilitate its application to successfully coordinate change
  • Implement a strategy to support adoption and application of the change management framework within the business
  • Manage the input and output of the change management reporting systems for the Transformation Office, Director of Operations, and Executive Leadership team
  • Establish and maintain strategic networks with key stakeholders at all levels to foster a supportive environment for effective change management
  • Design and execute change management strategies and plans to facilitate employee adoption for substantial workplace changes acknowledging all aspects of change
  • Develop innovative change and communications solutions that are relevant to organisational needs and change activities being implemented to address complex business challenges, and generate active participation
  • Support and coach leaders to help embed change within their teams and, in some cases, directly support project teams during the implementation of change initiatives
  • Collaborate with Projects Managers to consult and advise on change management to ensure change management activities are integrated into the project plans, and tailored appropriately to the individual circumstances.
  • Identify opportunities and providing expertise to build change resilience and change management effectiveness across the organization
  • Understand, articulate and upskill stakeholders on their understanding and application of appropriate change frameworks and methodologies
  • Work closely with the continuous improvement and internal projects teams within the Transformation Office to support the change requirements and impacts resulting from their projects and initiatives

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, commerce, change management or a related field with relevant industry qualification
  • Significant change management experience, including demonstrated experience in leading complex change initiatives in a large organisation
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and achieve change through collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide broad direction to multi-disciplinary teams working on high profile projects to deliver business outcomes within defined time-frames
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
