The Opportunities

The E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) is the centerpiece of Australia's National Air Defence Capability, incorporating powerful Airbourne Surveillance, Communications and Battle Management Capability.

We have several Leadership Opportunities available supporting E-7A Wedgetail, as listed below:

  • Block Project Manager - Responsible for managing and delivering a portfolio of capability changes as part of an integrated block. The role reports to the E7 Australia Development Program Manager and works closely with the CoA ASCISPO PMU team

  • E-7 Australia Development Program Integration Manager - Responsible for leading a team managing the governance and application of PM best practice across the E7 Australia development portfolio. The role reports to the E7 Australia Development Program Manager and works closely with the CoA ASCISPO PMU team

  • E-7 Programs Business Integration Manager - Responsible for driving program integration across the E-7 Programs divisional portfolio as well as integration with broader BDA activities. This role reports to the Director - E-7 Programs.

  • E-7 Global Integration Manager - Responsible for working with BGS and BDS stakeholders to manage integration of product support activities across the global E-7 lines of business. This role reports to the Director - E-7 Programs.

We are seeking to have a balance of leadership across sites, so please indicate your preferred location and if you would relocate (Williamtown or Brisbane).

About you

We are looking for dynamic leaders who will bring openness, transparency, effective communication and relationship building strengths to support the E-7 portfolio. Our leaders will be part of a wider community to seek and drive continuous improvement, develop and execute project and process plans, and develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Execution experience and talent to take on the development, delivery, and sustainment of the E-7 program. But more important to us is who you are and how you care for the people you work with. We are looking for great communicators and a focus on relationship building and collaboration across Boeing, but also with the Commonwealth and our Industry Partners. Experience and Qualifications

  • Passion for establishing and fostering positive team cultures.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership qualities, and ability to lead teams of technical personnel delivering technical solutions to our customers.
  • Demonstrated personnel leadership qualities, including the ability to foster, develop, and sustain cross-functional teams as required by the business to support current and future objectives.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Formal Project Management, Agile, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired, however, prior experience will be considered.
  • Experience in the estimating, planning, managing and reporting progress of technical work scope is desirable.
  • Systems domain knowledge, systems engineering experience and other technical skills as relevant to each position will also be considered.
  • Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach teammates.
