Boeing Corporate's Law and Global Compliance organisation are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Investigator to join our dynamic global team.

This Corporate Investigator role, and the Law and Global Compliance organisation, are both instrumental in the overall success of the Company by driving an open and accountable business culture. We are looking for a teammate with strong and proven employee-related investigation experience in a corporate environment, which can include investigations such as misconduct, discrimination, harassment, theft, time mischarging along with production, quality, and safety issues.

This non-managerial role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Port Melbourne and reports to the Senior Manager of Corporate Investigations, based in Canada. Due to the global nature of the team, there will be the need to facilitate calls and meetings outside traditional business hours, however, with that comes great flexibility. The position does require some travel, both domestically and internationally on occasion, when the business need arises.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts high-complexity Ethics and Business Conduct investigations, including misconduct, discrimination, and harassment cases.
  • Develops preliminary investigative plans to determine scope and required resources.
  • Reviews and analyzes reported information within investigation scope.
  • Gathers initial investigative data to assess allegations and allocate further resources.
  • Utilizes basic or advanced investigative techniques to prove or disprove allegations.
  • Analyzes data and provides recommendations for operational improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Periodically briefs stakeholders on case status and relevant findings.
  • Creates concise written reports using approved formats.
  • Advises concerned parties on investigative findings for follow-up actions.
  • Leads development of training programs and tools for Ethics initiatives.
  • Mentors other Corporate Investigators.
  • Contributes to development of new job practices and standards.
  • Develops innovative solutions consistent with organization objectives.
  • Acts as subject-matter expert and external spokesperson for major matters.
  • Works autonomously with latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
  • Domestic relocation a possibility for the right candidate.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred, but not essential. Will consider combination of professional experience and other education.   
  • 10+ years writing precise investigative reports and providing testimony.
  • 10+ years proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • 10+ years conducting misconduct/discrimination/harassment investigations, including interviews and data analysis.
  • 10+ years conducting formal employee-related investigations.
  • 5+ years investigating theft, time mischarging, production, quality, and safety issues.
  • Experience in corporate or public-sector internal affairs role, performing formal employee and business related internal investigations.
  • Experience with work defect, damage claims, and time misuse investigations.
  • Conducted global investigations.
  • Used forensic investigative tools and software.
  • Led development and implementation of training programs and initiatives.
  • Acted as a subject-matter expert or external spokesperson for organizations.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and/or Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) certification, or other relevant certification in workplace investigations is desirable.
