Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Engineering organization has an opportunity for multiple Experienced Business Operations Specialists (level 3) to join the Engineering Business Operations Team in Everett, Washington!

Available roles include Speak-Up Portfolio Manager, SMS Integration, Building and Site Logistics, and Special Projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team in BCA Engineering.  Overall, these Business Operations roles include integrating across multiple functions and, at times, with the enterprise—leading project and portfolio management for Engineering Speak-Up items, as well as supporting special projects across the organization. Successful candidates are organized and self-motivated. Have a solid foundation in project management, strong communication skills, a system thinking mindset set and are exceptional integrators. As this team is dynamic, additional openings may come available during this process and will be presented if available.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis, and impact mitigation.

  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results, determine scope to meet long-range business goals, and develop business case.

  • Supports the coordination of commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential and develops mitigation planning, and refines the business case.

  • Meets with leadership to gain approval. Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain the status of programs, customer and supplier commitments, and compliance.

  • Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and leading high-level projects for Executives or Senior leadership

  • 3+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management

  • 3+ years of experience in leading cross-functional and/or project teams

  • 3+ years of experience developing program implementation/integration plans and schedules

  • 3+ years of experience developing relationships and negotiating commitments with other functional organizations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools

  • Experience in a role that required communication, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • Experience with SmartSheet software

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $93,000 - $101,000
