Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Base Management Specialist – Supplier Integration Leader (Level 5) to join the Transportation, Warehousing, & Logistics (TWL)Provider Management team in Everett or Seattle, Washington.

This unique role is for the Supplier Integration Leader (SIL) responsible for FedEx, UPS, and DHL. As the Subject Matter Expert for these key suppliers, the SIL will collaborate with their assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role will also monitor and manage all supplier-based strategies, business reviews, performance measures and tactical improvement efforts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrates with supplier strategies and plans enterprise strategies by developing and deploying supplier playbook.

  • Coordinates with Category Strategy Leaders (CSL) and Contracts on developing contracts, negotiation efforts and cost reduction strategies.

  • Supports supplier technology road mapping sessions.

  • Communicates supplier emerging issues, overarching/high-level metrics and performance roll-up data; and facilitates executive internal and external dialog.

  • Integrates strategic “global” activities and initiatives for assigned supplier and ensures alignment with program goals (e.g., relationship, corporate/ leadership culture, corporate strategies, industry climate, etc.)

  • Integrates and approves Supplier White Papers, supporting the talking points for executive level meetings and events with supplier/Boeing executives.

  • Directly interfaces with executives and assist in special projects that have high visibility.

  • Develops supply chain solutions, strategies, and policies to support customer requirements.

  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators

  • Communicates and creates presentations for senior management and executive levels in a visually pleasing way.

  • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators and makes recommendations to team and leadership to drive business results.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working with value stream stakeholders to resolve complex issues

  • 10+ years of experience developing and deploying an integrated strategy

  • 8+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management

  • 8+ years of experience interfacing directly with all of the following: suppliers, external customers, and program management

  • 5+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with strategy development and execution

  • 5+ years of experience managing supplier contracts

  • 3+ years of experience with improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, systematic problem solving)

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 15 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:  $142,500 - $165,000
