Boeing Engineering & Technology Center is currently seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to become part of the Freighter Conversions and Modifications team in team located in Rzeszow, Gdansk or Warsaw, Poland.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans, leads, and conducts in-depth structural analysis (examining static strength, durability/fatigue) to assess structural integrity (safety margins) using classical stress analysis and Boeing tools.
  • Guides product design, ensuring structural robustness through analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and various analysis tools throughout the product's life cycle to shape the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
  • Offers guidance on structural design and configuration development.
  • Reviews and approves data supporting the definition of structural design requirements.
  • Develops task schedules, oversees and reports on product progress and release schedules.
  • Leading engineering teams if necessary of working as a subject matter expert.
  • Training and guiding junior engineers.
  • Developing new statements of work or engineering novelties.
  • Works with minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • Master’s Degree (or greater) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics, Structural Engineering or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience or related work experience and/or combination of additional education and relevant experience with stress analysis.
  • Ability to work independently (without lead's engineer supervision).
  • Supporting multiple programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of static, fatigue, DT analysis by Boeing standards.
  • Familiar with BOEING software: FEADMS, IDTAS, general knowledge about FAMOSS and MOSS-DUBERG, CSW, XSA, IAS).
  • Good knowledge and practical skills in FEM (Patran/Nastran/Abaqus FEA/HyperMesh etc).
  • Good knowledge of composite material.
  • Good knowledge of A/C certification process (FAA/EASA requirements).
  • Ability to train and share knowledge.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Written & oral English - confident B2 level.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Affiliated engineering/certification roles granted by FAA/EASA would be considered as a plus.
