Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their Spares Execution Team in Hazelwood, MO. This is a position supporting the proposal side of the business. This involves being responsible for lead time analysis and part verification for Commercial Derivative, Bomber/Fighter, Navy aircraft and DLA.  The candidate will be supporting proposals for both US and International customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing workload and monitoring queues in the ACQ System
  • Update Standard Offer for Sale (SOFS) catalog lead times at least twice a year
  • Support initiative to ensure Supply Chain Execution is involved in proposal lead times outside of ACQ
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
  • Interacts with Senior management inside and outside of immediate organization.
  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Participates and leads process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead time analysis
  • Part Verification
  • Assisting with commodity code issues
  • Assisting with Sourcing issues
  • Training new employees
  • Process documentation

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location option (Hazelwood, MO).  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules or solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • Experience with Manufacturing Build Plans, Bills of Material, Tooling, and Commodity Codes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience in supplier management systems, and tools
  • Experience with the following systems: REDARs, ACQ, SCARs, MS2, TAMs, BPP, NWP, PDRS

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary Pay Range: $85,500 - $95.000
