The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), MQ-25 Program is seeking a Mission Systems Electrical Systems and Design Engineer located in Hazelwood, MO. The Boeing MQ-25 Program has an opportunity for an Engineer who wants to contribute to advances in autonomous aviation.  This engineer will help make history by joining a program that is the future of unmanned aircraft carrier aviation for the U.S. Navy! This engineer will be working with cross-functional teams to provide coordination and technical leadership for the execution of Mission Systems tasking for related to the MQ-25 System Development Test Aircraft (SDTA).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the technical work and provide technical support to the Mission Systems Engineers performing design, acquisition and integration efforts to replace obsolescent mission, communication and navigation avionics components for the SDTA aircraft.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to assure that Mission Systems Avionics required for the SDTA aircraft are acquired in compliance with requirements, cost and schedule.

  • Support project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status

  • Support Manufacturing Operations, Integration, Checkout, Ramp and Flight Test Operations at Mid America Airport.

  • Interface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels of the organization

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead Mission Systems Electrical Systems and Design Engineer.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in Avionics/Mission Systems Integration

  • Experience in Supplier Oversight/Technical Coordination

  • Experience in Project Leadership

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Lead (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $96,050 - $129,950

Summary pay range for Lead Level: $119,850 - $162,150
