Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Senior and/or Lead-Level Material Review Board (MRB) Liaison Engineers to become part of Boeing Global Services Modification and Sustainment Engineering Team supporting multiple locations including Boeing Field Operations at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, NAS Whidbey Island, NAS Oceana, NOLA Joint Base.  This position may be based in Hazelwood, MO. or at one of the listed location options:Lemoore, CA, NAS New Orleans Belle Chasse, LA, NAS Oceana, VA or NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

This position will be responsible for liaison engineering MRB support associated with the retrofit, repair, or modification of multi-platform aircraft including but not limited of F/A-18 and F-15.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
  • Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
  • Identifies, documents and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
  • Develops and implements product/process improvements.
  • Provides comprehensive build knowledge of the end product to ensure producibility.
  • Represents the engineering community in the post production environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, NAS Whidbey Island, NAS Oceana, NOLA Joint Base).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Structural Liaison, Structural Design or Structural Analysis.
  • Engineering MRB (Material Review Board) certification.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience on F/A-18, F-15 Platforms.

Typical Education & Experience:

Lead-Level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior-Level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Lead-level Summary pay range: $113,050 - $163,300

Senior-level Summary pay range: $144,500 - $209,300
