 The Boeing Global Services organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for an Experienced / Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3/4) to join the Commercial Mods - Supply Chain Execution team located in Long Beach, CA.

 We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver. Be a part of meaningful change, as we examine and evolve our supply chain processes, strategic understanding of our extended supply chain along with the risks and issues within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical knowledge, analytical experience, supply chain experience and executive level briefing experience.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develops executive level briefings

  • Partners with organization leaders to support the development and implementation of long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives

  • Defines, designs, plans, deploys and manage internal/external projects

  • Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status

  • Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations

  • Analyzes and summarizes data used in the development and proposal of organizational direction

  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators

  • Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan.

  • Develops risk mitigation plan

  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.

  • Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis.

  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.

  • Possess general understanding, ability, and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations; Possess general knowledge of company and local policies, procedures and regulations.

  • Leads the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5 + years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • 5 + years of experience in a role that required project management skills

  • 5 + years of experience working in cross-functional teams

  • 5 + years of experience working with Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • 10 + years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • 10 + years of experience in a role that required project management skills

  • 10 + years of experience working in cross-functional teams

  • 10 + years of experience working with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience writing SQL or developing queries

  • Experience in presenting to audience

  • Experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts and/or subcontracts is desired

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience (Experienced):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Typical Education & Experience (Senior):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range (Experienced): $ 86,700- $117,300

Summary pay range (Senior): $108,800- $147,200
