Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced MH-139 Aircraft Structural Mechanic willing to work on 1st and/or 2nd shift supporting the MH-139 program at Malmstrom AFB, Montana.

Sign-on bonus available based on candidate eligibility

This position is contingent upon award

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty
  • Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
  • Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in resolving equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation
  • Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting user documentation such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals
  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements
  • Works under general direction

This position requires an active U.S. Interim Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with rotorcraft maintenance
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with aerospace structures experience
  • Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
  • Must be willing to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications
  • Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift and/or 2nd shift.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: 55,250 - 80,500
