The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Industrial Security Specialist to manage a team of Personnel Security (PERSEC) Professionals in Mesa, Arizona. This position requires a high-level of judgment for prioritizing and leading the PERSEC activities for the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Service Center
  • Investigates, analyzes, and resolves sophisticated questions and issues pertaining to PERSEC and service center activities
  • Implements Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • Provides leadership, mentoring, guidance, and training to less expert personnel
  • Implements government policies and company security processes & procedures
  • Completes tasks toward long-range goals and objectives
  • Defines tasks to be performed, develop schedules and distribute work assignments
  • Implements plans for the protection of Highly Sensitive Personnel Identifiable Information (HSPII)
  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Mesa, AZ.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)  
  • 5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership  
    Experience with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with SIMS Software  
  • Experience with the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) 

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $123,250 to 166,750
