Boeing Global Services is currently looking for a Training Device Technician to join the team at the F15E VTTC aboard Nellis AFB, Nevada.  You will assist with repairs and tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.  Performs general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components.  Conducts functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators.  Our Teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and SeniorTraining Device Technicians.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Nellis AFB, NV.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Repair, modify, update and maintain F-15E MTC simulators located on site.

  • Perform all maintenance, inspections, repair, and replacement of parts, teardown, re-assembly, calibration, testing and operational checks to ensure proper system performance. Correct malfunctions and verify the service condition of components, system and subsystem of each trainer system.

  • Perform maintenance on simulator spares and support equipment.

  • Perform network troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Perform troubleshooting to isolate computational, mechanical, or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

  • Provide customer service to end-users (aircrew, domain experts, and engineering).

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager or site/shift lead.

  • Some travel may be required

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft flight simulator training device maintenance, or experience in aircraft avionics / electronics or computer network and information systems.

  • Knowledgeable in Windows operation systems and computing networks.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fighter aircraft simulator training device maintenance and the operating systems, visual imagery and display systems associated with flight simulators/training devices.

  • Security+ Computer Certification.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Mid-Level

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Mid-Level Summary pay range:          63,750 – 86,250

Senior Level Summary pay range:     74,800 – 101,200
