Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Mid-Level Flight Line Compliance Focal to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable Shift!

Primary Responsibilities:   

  • Partner with 787 Manufacturing Safety Team members, as required

  • Facilitate compliance-related BPSMs and RSPSs for assigned areas.

  • Understanding of relevant policies, processes, procedures, BPS criteria and expectations.

  • Compile and report out all performed compliance assessments using EPES and program standard processes.

  • Works under general direction.

  • Support Focal meetings through facilitation, backup facilitation, or attendance of either (5S Steering Team, Tool Management Steering Team)

  • Support emergent compliance projects, as requested by team leadership.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Willing to work any shift required

  • 3+ years of experience within the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing.

  • 1+ years of experience in advising and influencing others to meet compliance, quality and safety requirements

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • 1+ years of experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work

  • 1+ years of experience requiring strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading and working with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with Field Operations

  • Familiar with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $83,700 - $102,300
