The Boeing Company is currently looking for Mid-level Systems Engineer - Interiors Integration to join the team in North Charleston, SC.

This position will be supporting Aircraft Interiors Certification and Delivery. In this role, you will be working closely with the Interiors Certification Team, Interiors Integration, Operations, Quality, and Engineering. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the identification and execution of tactical plans, Identification, and mitigation of risks, and participates in the resolution of issues pertaining to certification and delivery.
  • Evaluates customer and/or operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Identifies and Implements project management best practices to ensure operational stability and ensures execution of business goals and objectives.

Work Authorization Statement:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years or more of experience developing, integrating, and managing projects utilizing standard project management tools.
  • 3 years or more of experience in creating and managing project schedules/plans.
  • Working knowledge of the aircraft certification process

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prove experience working with and collaborating with executive leadership.
  • Ability to use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to a variety of audience.
  • Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years' related work experience)

  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay Range Summary:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Mid-Level: $97,750- $132,250
